How to stop a church?
In His Word Jesus told, that the gates of hell will not overcome the church. Ant this is the truth. But satan has developed reliable technologies, which are aimed if not to destroy the church, then to weaken it, and to lead it the false way. And it often happens just like that. The first satanic weapon against the church is to make it acceptably by this world. It is also told: «What sorrows await you, who are praised by the crowds». The church and christians are not only far from troubles, but they even rejoice when the government accepts, rewards the church, gives it influence and authority. To be loved by all people and to be accepted by the authorities of this world — are two different things. The emperor Konstantin who is so highly honored by the church, was baptized only after he had taken authority over the church. But at first, was year 325, when christianity was made a state religion of Rome, and Jesus Christ was replaced by the symbol of faith (by an icon). The teaching of the Old Testament about the blessing of Joseph (when he became an influential political figure) is very popular among believers till nowadays. But people forget, that Joseph was still a slave to his master, and though he was very influential, he was a slave to Pharaoh. Still, he was a slave. The truth is that it doesn’t remind us Jesus, who denied satan’s suggestion, who offered Him all the riches of this world. It’s easy to stop the church: it’s only worth to offer her modern decorations, which will lead her to hell. The honors of the authorities of this world, which the church accepts, is not the reward from the Lord. It’s enough to hire a church to participate in organization of the state system, to give it a state order and to involve it into different social projects (public organizations), to give her financing — and the movement of the Holy Spirit will be stopped.
Jesus warned us, that the kingdom God and the kingdom of this world can not be united (because these systems oppose each other). When representatives of the church came to Nikita Khruschev (the general Secretary of Communist party of the former USSR), he was led by the Holy Spirit. He took the Gospel in his hands, and pointed them to the verse in Scriptures, which told that christians will suffer persecutions. An illusion dream to relocate the Heavenly Jerusalem to the earth (and to privatize it, if possible) does not leave the believers’ heads. They are dreaming to somehow unite Christ and Belial, to make them friends. The believers, just like the people of this world, are fighting for the blessings of this world and for the quality of life, living in a tolerant neighborhood with the gates of hell. So, what is the conclusion? In order to neutralize the church, devil invites her to serve the government. Another satanic weapon are demonic teachings and revelations. And we have them in abundance nowadays. As a rule, they are based on revelations of the Old Covenant. All their goals are earthly: success, prosperity, influence, wisdom, good family..etc. Separately we can mention teachings about holiness, righteousness and search for the face of God. In the New Covenant righteousness and holiness are received automatically, when you receive Christ into your heart. But in the Old Covenant it’s an ever-lasting process, when you are running around the circle. And real communication with God never reaches its goal, (revelation about putting Gospel into life), but people are constantly searching His presence, to be filled with it. We are not mentioning here the teachings about God’s blessings and the efforts people are taking, in order to get them by faith. The teachings how to make these blessings come true. But are we really called for that? Is it the purpose God really puts before us? It also concerns the endless healing of the believers (who in fact must be healed by His wounds). In reality, this is a waste of time, given to us for fulfilling Gospel in our lives, that is all. Whatever we say, but these demonic teachings are really ruining the power of church, stopping its movement to God’s purposes, directing it towards false worldly values.
There is one more weapon against church. It’s money. In times of the USSR the soviet ideologists, who agreed they couldn’t influence the believers, decided to make such an experiment. They raised the salary to the workers of a building team (these workers were christians). After that, the workers started quarreling, and their unity was ruined. And before it happened, they never started to work without a song, praising God, and a prayer. A desire to have «life in its fullness» at any cost constantly motivates people to make bricks from clay and straw. The motto: «Money is the wheels of the Gospel», about which Jesus told nothing, made the real wheels of the Gospel so small (I mean faith and devotion), that nowadays preaching is more based on commercial tricks (a method borrowed from the world), than on miracles and signs. A «wise» demon threw upon idea, that gold and silver are responsible for everything (the Old Testament), but such a theology ignores your faith and the price of your soul.
If today we give a million dollar to each church, than in all streets we shall see big board with quotations from the Bible and Jesus’ photos on them,but nobody will repent through all this. I think, that millions of dollars are spent, but the real Gospel hasn’t yet spread, sooner it’s just the other way round.
So as we see, the simple and elementary tricks, offered by satan, are stopping the church for already 2 thousand years, and it prevents Jesus Chris from coming! AMEN!!!
